STYLING || FALL/WINTER OUTFIT OF THE SEASON.

 

Okay so it’s always hard to put together an outfit visual and style it with using just pictures that are of the separate items and can include other clothing items on the picture but hopefully you will be able to use a little imagination and ‘kinda’ put it together in your head.

So first of all, this fall/winter season many of us would have noticed the Kim Kardashian inspired, oversized jackets that she usually wears on her shoulders without inserting her hands into the sleeves.

We frequently see this look displayed on social media websites such as Instagram, Tumblr, twitter and other fashion blogs.
Kim has amazing style and knows how to make an outfit chic without over doing it and making it look trashy.

 

These jackets go so well with many different clothing items such as skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, dresses, skirts, turtle necks and even a cute cropped top!

This jacket is by Paul Smith, it is a black and white wool-blend herringbone coat with a contrasting back panel. This coat is in the Black Label 2014 collection and is marketed at £505.00.
The front of this jacket has a double breasted button up front and two flap pockets that give it that little bit of edge and interest. The buttons are marbled with ‘Paul Smith embossed signature displayed on them.
This jacket is so versatile and could be worn on many different types of occasions, seasons and to different events.
This jacket can be styled formally with a smart dress and heals or informally with some jeans and a shirt.
 

 

The trousers I chose to go with the jacket are these RED (burgundy) ‘Anita’ Slim fit trousers by HUGO BOSS.

These elegant trousers are made of high-quality cotton blend with polyurethane. They have 2 piped side pockets with concealed zip that look very elegant and can be very useful in different occasions.
These trousers cost £179.00 and are available on the Hugo Boss website.
They are very stylish and can be worn on a day to day basis or as a statement trouser that would go well with loafers OR they can be put together with a shirt and a short blazer to add the aspect of class. 

For the look I’m putting together here I think they would fit in perfectly as the red/burgundy material will add a little colour to the monochrome jacket and will match perfectly with the bag I have chosen (for bag details please read on)

The top I choose to go with this outfit is a black mock neck crop top that is from FOREVER21 that currently is priced at £9.50!

This top pretty much speaks for itself so there isn’t much to say but as you can see it is perfect for this season as it is will keep you warm and toasty as the same time as it lets you look sophisticated and fashionable.
The long sleeves and mock neck detail are the main features of this top and give it that cosy winter feel.
It’s the type of top that you can go from a hard day at the office to a happy hour at your favourite spot on the town.

The lightweight knit of this top consists of 95% cotton and 5% spandex.  So comfort will not be a problem!

 

Moving onto this stunning ‘Maika’ leather bag from HUGO BOSS in dark red, this elegant handbag features organisers and a zipped compartment inside to keep all your essentials in place. It has a grain effect print and a metal logo at the front that adds the expensive taste and chic style.
There is also a strap that can be added to make it a long over the shoulder bag which I think would look great with the outfit I’ve put together today.

This bag can be worn in so many ways, if I had it I would for sure take it everywhere with me as it is such a good size for all my belongings, it will fit a professional camera, make up bag, phone, purse and a notepad perfectly!

The colour can be worn with many, many other colours, a matching lipstick colour would look stunning with this outfit as it will complete it! This bag is £450.00 and is available on the Hugo Boss website.

 

Next we have a black 100% wool, felt floppy hat priced at £45.00 from ASOS.
This cosy hat has a pinched crown to add effect and a knotted tie detail on the side.
This had is by ‘Christy’s for ASOS’ who has been manufacturing hats in England since 1773 and has an impressive clients list that includes royalty. Impressive? 

 

 

Finally, these are the high heeled, pointed leather booties from ZARA that cost £89.99 but are defiantly worth the price, they are GORGEOUS!

I love how it has the minimum amount of detail but the detail they do have compliments it greatly.

They have a side zip closure and a silver plated button that work well in contrast with the stitching that separates the pointed toe.
The heel has a height of 6.2cm and is in good proportion with the rest of the shoe.

Personally I’m in love with these, I like how they can add so much personality and bring it style.
Can just about imagine an off duty model paparazzied wearing these with some simple, skinny blue jeans, a white Tee and a leather jacket. 

So it is time to conclude my put together outfit that I have called ‘’FALL/WINTER OUTFIT OF THE SEASON.’’
many of us have pieces similar to these that we can style in so many ways so my biggest advice would be play with your clothes and see what you can put together! Look up latest fashions and subscribe to fashion newspapers so that you can know what the latest is and bests stuff out there!
